Do I need to pay each month?
No! Your Kitchen Assistant works totally fine on the free plan. The $99 preorder special comes preloaded with three months of Food Club (which activates the day you set up your device). After that, Food Club renews at $9.99 a month until you cancel. Cancel before it renews to avoid the next charge. See the preorder details.
What does the app do with my Kitchen Assistant?
The app is where you can see your entire kitchen inventory, save and view recipes, and shop! Check in receipts via the app and use your Kitchen Assistant to quickly mark items as used, check-in leftovers, speak items into your list, and follow recipes while you cook. The app keeps your food, recipes, and lists close when you’re out.
Can everyone at home use it?
Yes! Your recipes and grocery lists sync across your household. Everyone can add what’s needed and see the same list.
How does Trepo know what food I have?
Scan a receipt or take a photo of your fridge, pantry, fruit bowl (anything else!) with the app. Use the Kitchen Assistant to check individual items in when you're in a hurry and mark them when used. You can also add items by voice on both the kitchen assistant and app.
Can I keep the recipes I already love?
Yes! Save from TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, websites, even that old cook book! Simply snap a picture of them in the app. Keep them in one place, then follow the steps on your Kitchen Assistant.
Do I need my phone while I cook?
No need! Open a recipe on your Kitchen Assistant, then turn the dial to move through the steps.
How does the Kitchen Assistant work?
It has a downward facing camera that you can hold any food item under. Simply tap "check-in" to add it to your kitchen, "discard" to mark it as used, or "dish" to get the macros. It also has a microphone which you can send commands through - simply tap and hold the mic button. See how privacy works.
